Body or skeletal joint “misalignments,” which are termed by most chiropractic physicians as “subluxations,” can be caused by a variety of factors. Dr. Walicki is very adept at finding the cause(s) as well as fixing the problem. After all, you have to find the problem to fix the problem!
A person can “get out of alignment” due to macrotrauma (by having a fall or a traumatic accident) and/or through microtrauma (by using or favoring one side of the body more repeatedly day after day, for example). Either one of these conditions can result in joints that are “misaligned.” Some misalignments involve moving too much (hypermobile) while others involve not moving enough (hypomobile). Most chiropractors are adept at finding hypermobile misalignment. However, if Dr. Walicki suspects that the misalignments may have a hypermobile component, he can order motion x-rays of the area of concern in order to properly diagnose the issue. The bottom line is that no matter where the problem is, Dr. Walicki has the knowledge, skills, technology, and resources to help you through expert, experienced chiropractic care. We serve patients from throughout the Asheville, North Carolina area, so contact us at Advanced Chiropractic Center today to schedule your first appointment and start feeling better!
